It is more reboot rather than a sequel.Overall I’d say the movie is very enjoyable. Yes, no one can beat Will Smith’s performance from previous films, but sometimes change is a good thing. Whatever they have shown in the film (although clichés) never bored me. It kinda keeps you hooked onto the storyline. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson combination is great. But Liam Neeson could have got more screentime. Dont know if there is another sequel, but the ENDING DIDN'T give me that HOPE or hype for another one.

I never get tired of watching this franchise. So many interesting and amazing characters. Acting was good and great work by Chris Hemsworth specially. Action scenes are good, amazing and very well directed by Barry Sonnefeld. Vfx work is amazing and movie is capable to bind audience with full entertainment.

Kumail Nanjiani is the best thing about “Men in Black: International.” That’s saying something, considering that the actor never appears on camera and that the character he lends his expressively plaintive voice to is a CGI alien the size of a gerbil. The last surviving member of a race that has been hiding out on Earth — in a Marrakesh antiques shop, specifically, in the guise of chess pieces — he is an anonymous cog in a larger (well, not that large actually) machine. “Pawns don’t have names,” he tells agents M and H (Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth), operatives from the Men in Black agency, a global police force that monitors and maintains order on the comings and goings of extraterrestrials. “Pawny,” they decide to call him — in a telling moment of unimaginativeness that will make you grateful they don’t add the last name “McPawnface.” From that moment forward, Pawny is a source of steady and much-needed comic relief — in an otherwise dutifully thriller-ish plot that sees M and H trying to A) keep a world-destroying weapon out of the hands of evil aliens; B) identify a potential mole inside the MIB organization; and C) kill, capture or avoid assassination by a pair of hit men from another planet. These killers are played by Larry and Laurent Bourgeois, the French hip-hop dancers (and siblings) known as Les Twins. If not exactly stunt casting, it still feels like pandering; their performance includes a scene set in a disco, where they deliver some of the strikingly original, herky-jerky moves they’re famous for — on dance competition shows, in viral videos and as Beyoncé’s backup dancers.

Directed by Gary Gary staring Hemsworth and Thompson, this movie is based on Men in Black franchise. Although this movie has negative reviews, it is worth a watch if you love the series. The comedy is little bit okay. The graphics are cool and vivid. The plot line is simple. This movie has a female lead character too, unlike the previous editions. Worth a watch once.

I liked this movie so much. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson combination is so great just as in Ragnarok. They make a good fun pair. Great humour at many instances distributed throughout the movie. Kumail Nanjiani is so hilarious as he normally is. I loved him a lot he is one of the best parts in the movie. Emma Thompson have not much to do but she is pretty good.Liam Neeson is really good in this, his and Chris's character relationship and trust is shown very neatly from the beginning. As the trailers shown most of the people thought Rebecca Ferguson is the main bad but she is not her role is not large in the story. There are two action sequences in the movie with Hemsworth and Tessa which is a combat fight and it is totally done very cool with decent camera work.I liked those two fights. Totally a fun enjoyable movie but it is not close to the greatness of first MIB (1997) or the sequels. Of course the second MIB (2002) is considered as a bad movie but I enjoyed that one too.Third installment (2012) is a good one too.First one and third one are my favorites of all the four movies. MIB International will be in third spot for me. I like to see a sequel to this movie.

This is worth the price of admission. Watch this for the exciting wit and colorful special effects. It doesn't linger on the original trilogy and began a new story with agent H, Chris Hemsworth, and agent M, Tessa Thompson, who have two distinct stories. It has funny, clever dialogue and both characters steal the focus of the story. H has charismatic moments while M is on a path of discovery. The work this film needs is making the plot effect the characters more. The climaxes are weak and the plot is meteoric. A movie about saving the universe should have more stakes. It's a fun blockbuster.

You're never going to hate a film if there are Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson and Liam Neeson in it. MIB really went international this time. I really loved the premise of the film from where it started off. People were cheering upon the entry of Chris Hemsworth as Thor, in the theatre ( am not kidding). Crowd also cheered the Ashish Chanchlani scene, but for me, it was way over the top. Futuristic gadgets and aliens were damn awesome and with great visuals as well. I am not saying that it is the best movie of the series, but it surely does the job.

Prudvi posted a review for Men in Black: International in Movies
MIB International is a spin off of the original and authentic franchise and comparable to that of will Smith's efforts and revisits the same concept in the present day. Molly(Thompson), who saw an alien creature in her bedroom and witnessed her parents being mind-wiped by two MIB agents when she was a child, has spent her entire life trying to find a way into MIB, and to figure out how the agency and the entire universe work. As Molly, Thompson is half genius and half naif. She’s self-possessed and confident, acing every task O throws her way to earn the title of Agent M. At the same time, every element of her new gig is, well, alien to her. The creatures she’s dealing with come in every color and texture, and even those with multiple sets of eyes or hairy backsides amaze her. She’s like Harry Potter during his arrival at Hogwarts, looking at everything in wide-eyed amazement and experiencing all the wonder for the first time. O gives M one final task to complete in order to become a full-fledged MIB agent: training at the London branch. Playing the more adept Hermione Granger to M’s Harry Potter is Hemsworth’s Agent H, the dreamy top agent of MIB’s London division. Behind his brash demeanor and bro-adjacent tendencies, he’s fluent in multiple alien languages and is the most well-trained and well-trusted agent in MIB. And M and H together, under the advisement of Agent High T (Liam Neeson), must protect a very important alien who they don’t know is being targeted for assassination by two mysterious alien beings. That mission gets quite messy before H and M are thrown into a zippy romp trying to figure out who’s trying to assassinate whom and whether someone at MIB is a double agent member of the Hive, a villainous alien force with plans to take over the world. It’s a treat watching M and H zip around the globe in all kinds of space-age vehicles that tease the imagination: A rundown New York City subway car becomes a warp-speed train with express stops to London and Paris; a motorcycle has a surprise hyperdrive mode; cars transform into glowing spaceships. The agents also get to fire all kinds of weapons, including one planet-shattering gun that derives its power from a star, and at one point, they come into contact with Pawny (Kumail Nanjiani) a tiny alien with a tiny hat who serves as the movie’s CGI slapstick relief. But lost in the razzle-dazzle of all these gizmos is the opportunity to tell a story about what it takes to be an MIB agent. In the first movie, Jones’s Agent K wanted to be able to live a MIB-free life again and asked Smith’s K to neuralyze his memories of the agency. There are hints of that sentiment here in O’s preliminary tests of M: O stresses that being an MIB agent isn’t all fun and games, and that it’s something you can’t come back from. MIB: International returns to that theme a few times, reminding us that M has no friends or family, that she hasn’t ever been in love. The movie hints that it might actually be a rom-com about your job, your boss (in a sharp women’s suit), and becoming the best in your field, rather than sci-fi comedy romp. Emma Thompson and Tessa Thompson’s moments together are brief, but they’re some of the film’s strongest scenes. Still, Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth’s chemistry and rookie/vet dynamic is almost enough to make you forget about the missed opportunity and just relish in all the alien tomfoolery. A coworker quarrel between the two and deadpan Pawny over a broken-down hyperdrive motorcycle only works because of how charming Thompson and Hemsworth are. A flickering smile here, a knowing look there, and they’ve already won you over. It’s just a bit of a shame there isn’t much more to MIB: International beyond that.

The movie is continuation of the very old MIB series and it helps in relieving the childhood memories of watching the Alien stories on the big screen. Although the old Actors have been replaced by the new ones, but the new ones are as good as the previous ones. It has the good jokes at certain points which will make you laugh harder and makes it enjoyable for the children. I went with my brother and we both were hoping to see Will Smith but we are still glad to see the Hemsworth as his acting skills are excellent. I hope that they will make another sequel of this movie to continue the story from here. Overall it's a good family entertaining movie.

I don't like how everyone is canning this movie. Now this is all personal opinion, but I think everyone's issue is that it's not the original cast, or that it's not over the top r-rated humour. Overall worth a watch with families and kids. I recommend you all to go and judge and enjoy 90mins.

It goes all-in on the foolproof chemistry, at the expense of everything else. We know from Chris' and Tessa's previous flicks how well they can soar, but their partnership only takes the film so far when the script's in free fall and nothing else seems to have a stake.

Yesterday, I went with my friends to watch 'Men In Black'. Earlier I wasn't interested to watch this movie and I must tell you that i didn't regret after watching the movie. This is one of the best action movies I've ever watched. The actors were great in the movie and its story was awesome. It was just amazing to watch a team protecting their people from aliens. Action was spectacular and so the movie. Its a 'must watch' movie for action lovers. This movie was full of thrill and action. Especially the real fun is watching this movie on a big screen. There was humour also. I suggest every action lover to watch this wonderful movie.

I'm a little surprised to see the general lukewarm reception to this. Okay, maybe this doesn't have the impact of the first one, but I found it to be a breezy, fun affair. I mean, I found the story to be competent and the movie had some nice humor, locales, and weird aliens. I actually liked the design of the aliens here better than the original MIB. This film made the hidden world of aliens feel more lived in. I was bugged a little by the inconsistent appearances of the extraterrestrials. At times the MIB headquarters is stuffed with them, while at other times it's solely humans. The placement of aliens should've been better paced. Alright, Tessa Thompson and Ian Hemsworth don't have quite the dynamic and presence of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. They're still both affable. I liked Thompson's attitude and her backstory. Though Hemsworth's character comes on a bit strong in the beginning and his motivations for the way he currently is could've been spelled out a little better, he remains charming and does a convincing portrayal of his emotional journey. Kumail Nanjiani really brings on the laughs as the voice of a tiny alien. The enemy duo agents fight are really impressive looking and dangerous. Wasn't the biggest fan of Rebecca Ferguson as an alien. I felt she was miscast and the character was poorly written. I came to this for action and entertainment, and I felt I got it.

To me, the movie greatly depends on whether you've watched the previous movies. If you have, your standards would be rather high and you will walk out of the cinema rather disappointed. If you have not, I suggest watching it as it is a great movie alone. The movie's plot is rather basic with a bland twist and a fight scene. The dynamic duo of Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, who I wish to see more as a pair in the future. If you have not watched the previous three movies before, you will have not known about the aliens and the explosions MIB is famous for, therefore you will be fascinated. Therefore, I suggest walking into the cinemas with a fresh new standard.

The popular sci fi series is back. Directed by Gary Gray staring Thompson and Hemsworth. Unlike this one, the previous films had only one lead Will Smith. My take is despite negative reviews, the film is good. The cast did a fantastic job. The movie is entertaining, they pulled off comedy in great manner. But the point is nothing can match old good movies of this series. There a lot of cool scenes much like the earlier ones in this series and CGI was fantastic. I would urge you to go and watch the film and enjoy it.

There’s honestly nothing wrong with this movie. The actors did a brilliant job, the budget was obviously large, the CGI was great and the aliens were versatile. What it’s lacking is a difference between this movie and the other MIB movies. They could have really changed this up and created it’s own lane-since the original agents aren’t in this-but they lacked. If you’re coming into this movie having never seen a MIB movie, you’ll love it, but if the originals were home to you, this addition is not necessary.

The usually slimy, strange and tentacled creatures slithers and galumphing through "Men in Black: International." Some are cute- like the itty bitty being voiced by Kumali Nanjiani- but some look like leftovers from another fantasy franchises. The critters mingling with humans in Men in Black HQ could be on hiatus from the "Star Wars" movies, while a ferocious extraterrestrial suggests a prototype from the "Alien" series. Nearly everything here reminds you of something else often better, cleverer and funnier.

MIB is a pretty dope movie with stunning visuals and power packed action. Chris Hemsworth is a true legend man. He takes the movie to the next level with his acting skills. Men in Black:International is the fourth investment in the men in black franchise. MIB International is based in UK, which is the primary reason why the movie is starring a new cast. Chris Hemsworth aka Agent H and Tessa Thompson aka Agent M were entertaining through out the movie. Btw there was no story in movie at all. We have seen this kind of stories many times in many movies. They have tried to keep this thing secret in the movie but that wasn't secret at all - the audience comes to know who is the villan is at the start of the movie itself. Even though with outstanding acting of Chris and Tessa the movie fails to catch audience heart.

Please do not take the top few negative reviews seriously, as they think "Hollywood sequels from the older era etc Star Wars" are cash grabbing movies with too much hype. I would consider myself to have watch a fair share of movies and I would honestly rate this movie a 3.5/5. Although the casts are completely different, the feels is still there and the humour in this movie may be forced but some are actually funny. The plotline of this movie is pretty straightforward although some parts were a bit slow. The graphics is excellent and the character development was great except for Liam Neeson's role which had some lack of characteristics. Music, soundtrack was good and it's a pretty short and decent movie. Overall, if you have spare time or just need a family movie to watch, this would be great. If you have not watch the previous three movies, you can still watch this as it is easy to follow. Also, as the casts in this movie are popular, you will feel a deeper sense of connection with them from their previous movies. Conclusion: An adequate sequel/film to the MIB series which is recommended to watch in spare times

MIB was a great movie as well as a great concept TILL NOW. But this movie made me a bit dull, also it made me feel a little questionable about the writers of the show. The writing felt a little lazy. Chris Hemsworth and Liam Neeson were to look forward in the movie. And for god's sake, the cameo of Ashish Chanchlani was very cringeworthy. HE IS NOT A STAR HOLLYWOOD. Some of the puns were okayish and good, but mostly they felt like dragging a bit. If you've nothing to watch this weekend, then go for it, it's not the end of the world. But it's definitely not a second time watch film. Expected a lot from this movie. DISAPPOINTED.

A franchise film will always be compared to the other films in the series. with this in mind. Men in black international is by far the worst of the bunch. The film seriously misses Will Smith's comic timing, energy and charm. The plot was also very loose which you can often get away with if the action scenes make up for it but even they lacked any wow factor. Liam neeson was also completely wasted as a bit part character. It might be worth watching to fill an evening when it eventually arrives on Netflix but die hard fans of Men in Black will want to give this one a miss

I will say this first that one of my first Hollywood experience was with men in black and I liked it very much. So there is little bit prejudice here. This doesn't have comic sense that Will Smith had. Those movies were very chill movies with great chemistry between main characters, but here the movie doesn't look like it had any idea if it wanted to continue that or try something else. The acting was average and many great actors like Liam Nelson were not utilized properly.

‘Men In Black: International’ is everything you’d want from a fresh Summer blockbuster. It’s got charm, energy, and some good humor. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are both well-suited to their roles and they do a great job portraying their characters. The duo villains that we’ve seen in the trailers, to me, are less captivating characters than anything I’ve seen. Some humor aspects didn’t land as well as others, but for the most part, the jokes landed very well. Although predictable, this movie is a great start to the Summer season bringing a stellar cast, vibrant visual effects, a quirky setting (as established in the first ‘Men In Black’ film), and a lot of fun for the family. Definitely see it in the theaters for the great visuals.

Watch the movie with an open mind. Its a great watch. It's very different from the previous MIB movies but in no way is it bad. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson share amazing chemistry, really enjoyed the humour. Kumail Nanjiani iS amazing. To the people complaning of a feminist agenda, having a female character doesn't make your movie feminist. Saying maybe we should not be just "men' is black is not the feminist agenda. Every MiB movie was political with a lot of subtext and so is this. Coming to the plot it's more engaging than the second MIB movie but not as intense as the third. I say this to give you a scope. The great thing about this movie is that it isn't riffing or imitating the older one's. It's its own thing. It's paced different and has a different tone. There's no wayit would pull of that nostalgic charm of it tried to anyway. This movie was a great watch and I hope to see more of it. The onslaught of bad reviews feel like whiny old fan boys. Watch it with an open mind and give it a chance. Its fun and l enjoyed it.

Men in black international deals with the story of Agent J joining into the services and saving the world with the help of agent K (veteran). The director has tried to involve fun, action and chase sequences very well and made it a fun watching movie. This is really an interesting movie and no one can direct it more better than this considering variations in the movie. Director has involved the extra territorial life like aliens in the movie and also the threat from them to the world and how did agent J solved it is the story to be dealt.

The movie men in black international deals with the aliens living on earth for so long without the knowledge of humans. The story deals with the new recruit Agent J learns the ropes from veteran agent K just in time to save the world from unforeseen threats. The movie is a science fiction and partly fun intended and also action movie. As usual the movie includes a great chase scene and special effects. The direction and the camera work is beyond thoughts and the movie is a crispy one which could not be trimmed anymore.

A complete damp squib, Dark Phoenix feels like a cheap TV series finale for a cancelled show, not the culmination of a twenty year film franchise. It is probably the second worst X-Men film (because *shudders* Origins: Wolverine still exists) and somehow can't even match The Last Stand in terms of quality. It may be a more faithful adaptation of The Dark Phoenix Saga but it's much more dull and doesn't have interesting embellishments to help it past its worst moments. The film clocks in at under two hours, which seems strange when the previous three films all surpassed 130 minutes. It becomes clear why the film is so stripped back though, as the film is edited to the bone, with no breathing room for character development or anything that doesn't move the plot forward. The first half is awful, trying way too hard to make the emotional scenes land by playing them as overwrought yet obvious, accompanied by a whiny score. The film settles into a groove later on, especially in a decent train-set action sequence, but it takes far too long to get interesting, especially as it ultimately contains some of the most generic alien villains in superhero cinema. The actors in Dark Phoenix clearly don't want to be there, with most barely trying. Jennifer Lawrence is particularly subpar, but really most of the cast seem to not care. In the first confrontation between James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, their accents inexplicably change. Whether through laziness or reshoots the actors appear to be phoning it in. Only Tye Sheridan appears to be committed and he easily gives the best performance.

Please ..please bring back Will Smith or at least give M.I.B a decent funeral, great special effects as usual but no ZING!! Will smith factor missing and probably more importantly, the new M.I.B tried and failed to be like the previous M.I.B. It was painful to watch good actors trying and failing painfully. Script was predictable as even the twist at the end wasn't a surprise,it was more like a last gasp. The only thing that was good in this film is the C.G.I effects.

If I need to speak with Discretion, the new 'MIB: INTERNATIONAL' from our beloved franchise is good. The Cast is Awesome, the Dynamic between lead Duo is not new or fresh but it's tried and tested, the Visuals are very good (Little Less than I expected after watching the trailer), the side Charecters are Good & good old MIB music to complement the whole package. The cast is Awesome but Underused, Chris Hemsworth & Tessa Thompson did a good job in bringing good amount of humour but here it's 2 leads instead of only Will Smith in Original trilogy, I don't see why they need Liam Neeson, anyone can lead his Charecter, it's weird that he has Less screen time in a action movie, even Flashbacks won't show anything productive about him, Riza(Rebecca Ferguson) is another Charecter who is underused, I want to see little moments between Chris and her and why did they broke up, instead they give a cheeky talk about their past for humour and all the Build up about 'Intergalactic arms dealer' & 'Mistress of Murder' feels like a exaggeration when we actually see her.

Same MIB routine. Men in Black: International, which launches Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth into a bland variation on the same “MiB” routine, lacks the energy or ambition to make its intergalactic stakes into anything more than baffling cash grab. This misconceived attempt to inject a tired franchise with new life ends up as little more than an empty vessel.

Watched the premiere screenings last night. Great chemistry between Tessa Thompson & Chris Hemsworth. The dialogue was funny. The castings were great. The only lacking part was, the connection with the previous trilogy wasn’t that string. One hella cool movie !!

Good to see Tessa Thompson & Chris Hemsworth working together again after Thor: Ragnarok & Avengers : Endgame. The best thing about this film is its length. Just a 115 minutes movie packed with comedy, visual effects & stunning action scenes. It's going to be 2019's one of the most grossing films. And Chris Hemsworth's voice & attitude will gradually clung people closer to this movie I hope.

Men in black international (MIB) Director F.Gary Gary aims to capture their lightning chemistry in this film but instead ends up proving that no amount of charisma can substitute a strong screenplay. 'MIB International' was an obligatory twist towards the climax has a storytelling element that holds promise.Pity they're working with such a bland script, ending in a film seems to cater to new audiences, rather than those grew up watching the edgier MIB movies before it.

Just viewed this movie tonight.I really wanted to like this movie but slightly disappointing. The movie got lost between the original men and black and this one. They were trying to be goofy and funny in parts and serious in others.Cannot compare to the first 2 movies. Please bring back Will Smith
